Heavy Duty 4 LED Arming Station

The TS0006 is an access control keypad for the Challenger Control Panel. Typically used to authenticate user access to a door, the keypad can easily be used for arming/disarming areas as well. Challenger access keypads can be connected at a distance of 1.5kms from either the Challenger panel via the RS-485 LAN for simple door control, or via an Intelligent Access Controller for comprehensive access control functionality.

The 4 LED Arming Station was designed to be flush or surface mounted, with a sturdy plastic cover & hard-wearing buttons. Four LED's indicate access, alarm, ready & secure status of the area assigned to the TS0003. The 'access' LED indicates when an area is disarmed (LED will flash when a door is unlocked), 'secure' LED indicates when an area is armed, the 'alarm' LED indicates when an alarm has occurred in an area, and the 'ready' LED indicates an area is ready to be armed. However, when connected to a Version 9 system with fully expanded memory, the LED's can be programmed to indicate any area in the system.

The keypad may be connected directly to the Challenger RS-485 LAN, up to 1.5 km from the Challenger panel or Intelligent Access Controller. It has an input for request to exit (RTE) control and an open collector output that can be used to control a door relay or door strike. The keypad's performance and robust construction make it suitable for a wide range of applications, including dusty or wet environments (rated to IP67). It may be used as a Challenger system remote arming station.
